AutoDS vs DSers: what you pay at 100, 300 and 1,000 orders

Based on vendor prices and documentation. We have not used either tool.

On AutoDS vs DSers cost, if you place supplier orders yourself, DSers is cheaper: its Basic plan is free and AutoDS starts at $26.90 a month. If you want orders placed automatically, we can't name a winner, because the DSers sources checked do not give a complete automatic-ordering price. AutoDS automatic ordering works out at about $90 to $269 a month at 100 to 1,000 orders in the example below.

DSers costs less when you place orders yourself

AutoDS vs DSers: which suits your store?

For orders you place yourself, DSers Basic has a $0 monthly subscription and AutoDS Import is $26.90. If you have a small catalog and will place orders yourself, start by checking DSers Basic. Its $0 subscription is the cheaper starting point. If you need bulk ordering, check that specific feature before choosing: the DSers Shopify listing includes it under Basic, but DSers bulk-order help says the feature is "available on paid plans". The two subscriptions do not include identical features, either: AutoDS pricing excludes price and stock monitoring from Import.

If you want orders placed for you, use the AutoDS figures as a starting budget and ask DSers for a quote for your supplier and plan. DSers' automatic-ordering page covers Alibaba.com and its Supplier Agent Network; it directs AliExpress users to bulk submission instead. It does not confirm that Basic includes automatic placement.

Check payment as well as order placement. AutoDS' own-buyer guide says AliExpress payments still need manual confirmation. DSers' automatic-placement page does not establish automatic payment either.

If orders are rising but your catalog is not, do not buy a larger product tier just because sales have grown. If you are adding products or variations, recalculate the cost for your own catalog and order count rather than using this small-store example.

What AutoDS automatic ordering costs

AutoDS automatic-ordering software costs: $89.70 at 100 monthly orders, $158.50 at 300 and $268.80 at 1,000.

At 300 orders, $158.50 covers the Starter subscription, ordering add-on and prepaid credit packs.

The fixed parts are $39.90 for Starter, listed in the AutoDS Shopify listing, and the $9.90 monthly ordering add-on advertised on AutoDS pricing. The add-on guide says order automation requires Orders Processor. Pairing those charges is the calculator's budget assumption, not a checkout quote for every ordering method.

The AutoDS credit guide prices the packs that make the total rise:

The example starts with no credits and uses one credit per supported order placement, without tracking conversion. At 300 orders, the packs buy 310 credits, leaving 10. Existing credits can lower your next purchase. Tracking conversion uses extra credits; split orders and retries are not included in these totals.

The catalog stays at 20 AutoDS active variations and 20 DSers supplier products. Totals exclude goods, shipping, Shopify's subscription, payment-provider charges, sales tax and the additional fees below.

AutoDS Import could lower the 300-order total to $145.50

If Import supports your ordering method, the same calculation comes to $76.70 at 100 orders, $145.50 at 300, and $255.80 at 1,000. It uses the $26.90 subscription instead of Starter's $39.90, with the same add-on and credit packs.

Check before you choose, because AutoDS' own pages disagree. Its pricing table marks Fulfilled by AutoDS unavailable on Import. Its fulfillment guide says it "is available on all AutoDS subscription plans" with "no additional plan-tier requirement". Do not pay for Starter solely for ordering without asking whether Import will do the job.

Budget for funding fees and optional extras

If you fund Fulfilled by AutoDS in USD, the fulfillment guide lists 5% for card or PayPal loads and 3% for Payoneer. The cash cost depends on how much money you add, not just your order count.

Other charges to check:

The AutoDS fulfillment terms allow fees "up to 15% of any order value" without a complete list of when they apply. That is a ceiling, not a flat fee on every order.
Optional VA access is $14.97 monthly on AutoDS pricing, not a published per-seat rate. Its credit documentation does not give a general price for failed or retried actions.
The DSers Shopify listing says extra products can cost more and tells customers to contact support. It does not publish the extra-product rate or an automatic-upgrade rule. Some optional AI features also lack full prices.

More orders do not automatically mean a higher plan

Going from 100 to 1,000 orders does not, on its own, select a new subscription. Neither vendor states a monthly order cap in the retained sources. That is not a promise of unlimited processing.

AutoDS capacity rules count active published variations. Reaching the limit pauses monitoring and blocks more uploads. DSers pricing uses product limits for its base tiers: paid subscriptions are Advanced at $19.90, Pro at $49.90 and Enterprise at $499.90 monthly. More products or a feature you need can require an upgrade; those prices are not automatic-ordering totals.

Annual billing changes the subscription, not every extra

For AutoDS Starter, the Shopify listing gives $368.70 a year. AutoDS pricing gives $29.90 a month billed annually, which calculates to $358.80 upfront. Those prices conflict. Confirm which applies to your billing route; the ordering add-on stays monthly and credits remain separate.

The DSers Shopify listing gives Advanced at $190.80 a year and Pro at $478.80 a year. These pay for the subscription. Basic has no annual subscription to prepay.
